GLOBOIDAL DRIVES

Globoidal or Roller Gear cam designs provide the highest torque capacities relative to available shaft centres. This design enables the support bearings to be located close to each side of the rotating components with the resulting assembly mounted in a robust cast iron housing. The final product offers superior rigidity and strength.

EG units have shaft outputs while EGF units offer the addition of a flange and spigot output.

Various standard cam programs are available offering different ratios of motion to dwell for one complete input shaft rotation. Specials and Oscillating motions can be engineered to suit customer's specific requirements.

All units in this range can be supplied fitted with quality geared motor drive packs suitable for index on demand applications or continuous running. Optional motors and types of control can be specified to suit customer requirements.

Mechanical or Inductive switch arrangements can be supplied on request fitted to the indexer to give appropriate signals for position and end of index.
